Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

  • The Procurement Assistant for non-construction will manage the procurement of all non-construction spends of the Company, including but not limited to the requirements of marketing, sales, admin, IT, customer support and other corporate services. The candidate is expected to drive strategic and cost-effective sourcing, ensuring timely delivery of materials and/or execution of services without compromising quality, while adhering to Company policies and industry standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Timely release of purchase orders to all purchase requisitions
  2. Ensure compliance of all stakeholders to established procurement processes
  3. Develop and execute category strategies, including cost-effective contracting with best-in-class suppliers and identifying opportunities for cost reduction, improvements in service levels and risk mitigation.
  4. Closely collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, to understand requirements and scope and effectively communicate it with all parties.
  5. Assess should-be costs and market trends and effectively negotiate to provide best value to all parties.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  1. Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Management or any related course
  2. At least 1 year of experience in procurement and has handled services and marketing categories.
  3. Experience in using SAP S/4HANA in procurement.
