Job Description

The Procurement Assistant drives efficient sourcing and purchasing for technical, operational, and site-based requirements. In this role, you will ensure seamless end-to-end procurement processes, maintain strong supplier relationships, and guarantee the timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle Purchase Request (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) workflows while meeting strict service level targets.
  • Conduct market scanning to source, qualify, and negotiate with suppliers for materials, equipment, and services.
  • Prepare precise bid evaluations and commercial comparisons to ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Monitor contract renewals, support supplier development initiatives, and resolve vendor or stakeholder concerns.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, trackers, and compliance documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial is highly preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, ideally handling technical, construction, or industrial categories.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, with hands-on experience in SAP or a similar ERP system as a strong advantage.
