Job Description

Procurement and Regulatory Executive

A growing regional specialty chemicals and life sciences distribution company is looking for a Procurement & Regulatory Executive to support its expanding operations in the Philippines.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in importation, procurement coordination, customs processes, and regulatory compliance who is comfortable working in a lean and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Importation

  • Manage purchase orders and procurement coordination activities
  • Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, brokers, and customers
  • Monitor shipment timelines and import documentation
  • Handle procurement processes using SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Ensure smooth coordination of importation and logistics activities
  • Follow up on recurring procurement and shipment documentation requirements

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Coordinate import permits, registrations, and compliance requirements
  • Liaise with Philippine government agencies including Bureau of Customs (BOC), DENR, FDA, PDEA, and related departments
  • Ensure compliance with importation and regulatory procedures
  • Support documentation and permit processing for regulated products
  • Assist in resolving customs and regulatory issues related to shipments
  • Help streamline and improve importation and regulatory coordination processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field
  • Around 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in procurement, importation, regulatory affairs, or supply chain operations
  • Experience handling importation and customs-related processes in the Philippines
  • Familiarity with Bureau of Customs (BOC) procedures, import permits, tariff classifications, and shipment clearance coordination
  • Working knowledge of DENR regulations and permit processing
  • Exposure to FDA product registration and regulatory documentation is an advantage
  • Experience coordinating with PDEA and other government agencies for regulated products is preferred
  • Background from chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food ingredients, personal care, industrial distribution, or related regulated industries is an advantage
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently in a lean operational environment
