Successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating company logistics for the shipping, customs releasing, transportation, and receiving of imported materials including coordination of material requirements of the Assets.
The Role
- Leads the importation and exportation process to ensure timely releasing of materials from Customs
- Leads the application, monitoring, and closure of duty-free incentives application with the Board of Investment
- Monitors and implements contracts related to logistics including incentives and bonds and insurances
- Coordinates with various project and contract owners for the identification of logistics requirements for imported materials and equipment
- Keeps up with developments in the industry and assesses the applicability of the same to Company's logistics and warehousing practices
- Provides assistance to the assets for JDE report generation, inventory issues and concerns
- Acts as SME for JDE-related to warehouse and inventory including system material catalog preparation
- Assists in the accreditation process of suppliers and contractors
- Handles and monitors accreditation requirements in Zycus
The Individual
- Bachelor's Degree in Customs Administration or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in contract formulation and administration and procurement operations
- Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing process
- Experienced in sourcing high-value imported materials and services
- Demonstrated capability in contracting for materials and services, including contractor/supplier identification and qualification, development of bid requests, and negotiation of agreement
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams
- Solid skills in evaluating and negotiating commercial offers from suppliers and contractors
- Knowledge in SAP ARIBA and Oracle JDE is an advantage
- Willing to be assigned in Makati
