Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement and Logistics Specialist to manage purchasing activities, supplier coordination, inventory control, and logistics operations. The role is responsible for ensuring timely procurement of goods and efficient delivery processes while maintaining cost efficiency, quality standards, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors for pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Issue purchase orders and monitor order fulfillment.
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Conduct cost comparisons and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Track and manage procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders on purchasing requirements and timelines.
Logistics & Supply Chain
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with freight forwarders, transport providers, and warehouses.
- Monitor shipment schedules and resolve delivery issues or delays.
- Manage inventory levels to support operational requirements.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, customs documentation, and delivery records.
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure accurate stock movement.
- Support demand planning and inventory forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate procurement and logistics data in ERP or inventory systems.
- Prepare reports on purchasing, inventory, and logistics performance.
- Monitor supplier KPIs and logistics service performance.
- Support audits and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in IT hardware or related industry
- Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and shipping documentation.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Familiarity with import/export procedures and Incoterms.
- Strong negotiation (pricing & quotation) and vendor management skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
