Job Summary
In this role you will report initially to the Director ofAPAC Procurement as a Service team as a
Bilingual Buyer / ProcurementAnalyst. You will be responsible for executing e-sourcing events, contractsmanagement, supplier compliance & supplier performance for the company inboth English and Nihongo language.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Works with Business Operations to ensure completeness ofScope of Work/ Bill of Quantities to be used for RFx activities
- Implement standardized systems and controls forprocurement including RFx documentation, work authorization, purchase andchange order systems, and supplier/contractor eligibility criteria.
- Organize and implements national/ regional e-sourcingactivities for various CBRE accounts
- Organizes and implements national/regional contractingand procurement strategies to increase operational efficiency and profitability
- Implement & manages relationships with regionalsuppliers and contractors and lead in contract negotiations.
- Manages the supplier vetting certification processincluding review of requisite experience, legal and organizational structure,financial viability, geographic coverage, insurance requirements and othercapabilities.
- Works with Procurement Operations to ensure that allsuppliers are onboarded for CBRE Accounts
- Implement and manage supplier performance program
- Establish strong working relationships with key internaland external partners and implement process improvement within theorganization.
- Manages & coordinates regional sourcing processes andpractices with internal stakeholders.
- Implement continuous improvement or operationalexcellence program for the organization
- Establishes requirements for and ensure the integrity ofcentralized procurement database systems. Serves as key point of contact
- Coordinate and communicate with suppliers throughletters, calls and webinars
- Conducts webinars to guide suppliers and internalstakeholders on CBRE Procurement systems and processes
- Perform other Procurement activities with the APACProcurement as a Service team
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must beable to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listedbelow are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or IndustrialEngineering equivalent to a 4-year college program in relevant discipline
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in Procurement / Purchasing/ Supply Chain Management
Communications Skills Requirement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strongorganizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely,reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively presentinformation. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues
- Fluent in Nihongo (N1 to N4 JLPT Certified or anyequivalent). Must be able to read, speak & write in local business languageto external and internal stakeholders
- Fluent in English. Able to read, speak & write toexternal and internal stakeholders
Financial Acumen
- Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complexdocuments.
- Ability to solve problems involving several options insituations. Advanced analytical and quantitative skills is preferred
Tools of the Trade
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite Productsespecially in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Experience in PowerBI is preferred
- Experience in working with and managing e-procurement andcontracts management platforms. Strong interpersonal and organizational skillswith ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge in Project Management is preferred
