Job Description
The PROCESS RE-ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT HEAD leads and delivers process improvement and re-engineering initiatives that support business growth, operational efficiency, customer experience, and risk management. The role identifies opportunities to streamline, centralize, outsource, or redesign processes while ensuring appropriate operational controls are in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business process re-engineering and improvement projects aligned with the Bank's strategic objectives.
- Analyze business processes, operational data, reports, and organizational structures to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement new or improved processes that enhance customer experience, efficiency, cost effectiveness, and operational controls.
- Lead initiatives involving process centralization, outsourcing, restructuring, and front-line process optimization.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive project execution, alignment, and adoption.
- Establish baselines, KPIs/KSI measures, benchmarks, and post-implementation metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of improvements.
- Partner with Innovation, Transformation, Fraud, Risk, and other functions to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and minimize operational risks.
- Provide recommendations to senior management on resource utilization, third-party services, and process optimization.
- Ensure process documentation, policies, procedures, SLAs, organizational structures, and third-party agreements are updated.
- Coach teams on process re-engineering, continuous improvement, and change management while promoting a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business process management and project management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail or corporate banking.
- Proven experience in cost management, change management, and people management.
- Experience in outsourcing, centralization, and vendor management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of process re-engineering, Lean/Six Sigma, Agile, and project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
