The Process Engineer Lead Systems & Technology Solutions is a hybrid role that combines process engineering excellence with strong technical development skills. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional who can optimize business processes while designing and building digital toolssuch as dashboards, workflow applications, internal web portals, and automation scriptsto drive efficiency and enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities
1. Process Design & Optimization
- Analyze and map existing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation or digital enablement.
- Design and document end-to-end business processes using BPMN, SIPOC, and value stream mapping methodologies.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement principles to streamline workflows and eliminate waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Product, Compliance) to align processes with strategic goals and technical feasibility.
- Define and track process KPIs through robust monitoring and reporting frameworks.
2. Development of Technology Tools & Solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain custom internal web applications, dashboards, and automation tools.
- Utilize technologies such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, Flask, or Django for scalable, user-friendly development.
- Build and deploy automated workflows, scripts, or bots to reduce manual input and increase reliability.
- Create and manage knowledge hubs and internal websites for SOPs, training, and process documentation.
- Integrate tools with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS) through APIs or middleware solutions.
3. Systems Thinking & Architecture
- Take a holistic view of organizational processes and technology ecosystems to ensure seamless integration and control.
- Partner with enterprise architects and IT teams to maintain security, scalability, and governance standards.
- Contribute to requirements gathering, solution design, and system architecture for digital transformation initiatives.
- Support Agile, DevOps, and hybrid implementation models within the SDLC framework.
4. Digital Transformation & Automation
- Lead digital transformation projects by identifying opportunities for workflow automation and low-code/no-code adoption.
- Evaluate and recommend third-party platforms or tools to enhance process performance.
- Develop proofs of concept (POCs) or MVPs for technology solutions.
- Drive end-user adoption through iterative development, feedback loops, and continuous improvement.
5. Data-Driven Decision Support
- Design and deploy real-time dashboards and performance analytics using Power BI, Tableau, or custom tools.
- Analyze and visualize operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and process improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with data teams to align data models with business and process requirements.
- Support root cause analysis using data mining and pattern recognition techniques.
- Able to do benefit quantification on all automation initiatives
6. Training, Documentation & Support
- Develop and maintain process documentation, technical specifications, and user manuals.
- Train teams and end users on new systems, tools, and processes.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for tools and solutions developed.
- Establish continuous feedback mechanisms to ensure sustained adoption and performance improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Process Management.
- Master's degree or certifications in Process Engineering, Web Development, or Digital Transformation is a plus.
Preferred Certifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- Agile/Scrum, PMP, or ITIL
- Technical certifications (e.g., JavaScript, Python, AWS, Azure, Power Platform)
Experience
- 47 years of experience in process engineering, business systems development, or digital transformation roles.
- Proven experience in building web-based tools, dashboards, and workflow automation solutions.
- Hands-on experience with web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python, SQL), APIs, and automation scripting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, databases, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
- Demonstrated success collaborating across operations, IT, and leadership teams.
