Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Process Design Manager!

The Process Design Manager drives the creation of correct, safe and cost-effective designs for Process Requirements of CAPEX Projects. He also leads cross functional alignment and approval of design standards for the Process Design Scopes.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities

• Effectively drives across all stakeholders the development and approval of all design standards related to Process scopes, across all product categories, based on project specifications and requirements, considering health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Leads his team of design engineers to facilitate correct, timely and cost-effective tendering of approved process requirement scope packages.
• Evaluates process design analysis and calculations performed by his design engineers according to project requirements, and recommends corrective actions for design issues.
• Evaluates and confirms installation costs and material estimates based on process designs.
• Leads site surveys and investigations to come up with required process engineering drawings.
• Manages committed timelines for the design scopes of assigned project, driving completion of project requirements.
• Accomplishes pre-project requirements such as, but not limited to feasibility studies and project costings.
• Incorporates various established safety and permit compliance strategies to the various process scopes being tendered and awarded.
• Consolidates necessary reports for proper monitoring of the progress of the project in terms of pre-project requirements, design, tendering and awarding.
• Keep self updated with the latest trends and developments on process technology, innovation, equipment and design.

What are the Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years work experience as People Leader in a manufacturing environment.
