Job Description

The role is responsible for supporting investor onboarding and AML/KYC processes across Private Markets funds. Respon sibilities include reviewing investor documentation, conducting due diligence and screening activities, validating data, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure efficient and compliant onboarding. The role contributes to risk management by maintaining strong data integrity, adhering to regulatory requirements, and supporting the firm's financial crime prevention framework while developing subject matter expertise in AML/KYC.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform end-to-end onboarding and implementation activities across products and institutional investor, including AML/KYC requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external partners for account setup and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with AML/KYC and broader regulatory requirements, supporting accurate application of policies and standards.
  • Manage documentation, onboarding workflows, and client communications to ensure timely execution.
  • Execute system setup and validate data integrity across platforms and systems.
  • Analyze datasets, reconcile discrepancies, and support data conversions and migrations.
  • Identify operational issues and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and control effectiveness.
  • Handle escalations and manage complex or high-priority onboarding cases.
  • Support AML/KYC due diligence by applying risk-based principles and contributing to SME-level knowledge within the team.
  • Drive continuous improvement, new tools adoption, and utilize AI and automation solutions to optimize workflows and support scalable operating models.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in AML/KYC, onboarding, or investment operations.
  • Knowledge of fund and institutional investor onboarding, retirement products, or trade lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, data management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with financial systems and data platforms.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding of AML/KYC concepts, with the ability to develop subject matter expertise over time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred knowledge in MS Office (advanced Excel), data tools, and financial systems (e.g., Bridger, WorldCheck, etc.).
  • Familiarity with custodians, brokers, payroll providers, and third-party administrators.
  • Knowledge of trade lifecycle, reconciliation, and settlement processes.
