about the job

As the Insurance Product Director, you will serve as the principal insurance specialist, partnering closely with Private Bankers and Relationship Managers to drive insurance product penetration and structure tailored solutions for clients across Singapore and the broader region. You will act as the strategic gatekeeper for the insurance portfolio, ensuring all product offerings meet stringent internal standards, risk parameters, and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will actively collaborate and negotiate with external insurance brokers and carriers to efficiently place complex deals and optimize client outcomes.

skills and experience required

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in insurance product management, wealth structuring, or advisory within a private banking or elite brokerage environment.

• Extensive technical knowledge of HNW/UHNW legacy planning and insurance solutions (e.g., Universal Life, Variable Universal Life, Whole Life, and Premium Financing).

• Proven track record of successfully supporting front-office bankers to originate, advise on, and close complex insurance deals.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience acting as a rigorous product gatekeeper.

• Established relationships and experience working closely with major insurance brokers and providers.

• Relevant regulatory qualifications for providing financial advisory services in Singapore.
