Employment Type: Full-Time Employment

Work Setup: Onsite onboarding for a two to four weeks, followed by a transition to a remote setup.

Work Schedule: Night Shift (Following U.S. Eastern Time Zone)

Location: Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City

Salary Package: Up to 60,000 PHP/Monthly

About The Client

The client represents a specialized dental practice focused on endodontics, which is a branch of dentistry dealing with the inside of the tooth—primarily root canal treatment and related procedures.

The Role

Intelassist is hiring a Prior Authorization Specialist / Physician Assistant to support a U.S.-based endocrinology practice. This role focuses on managing prior authorizations for medications, procedures, and diagnostics to ensure timely patient care.

Role Responsibilities

  • Submit and track prior authorizations for medications and services
  • Verify insurance eligibility and coverage requirements
  • Follow up with payers to secure approvals and resolve denials
  • Coordinate with providers to obtain clinical documentation
  • Manage appeals and resubmissions as needed
  • Maintain accurate records in EMR/EHR systems

Attributes

  • Preferred - Clinical background (PA, Nurse, or similar)
  • Experience in endocrinology or specialty care strongly preferred
  • Reliable internet connection and secure remote workspace
  • Ability to work consistently during U.S. business hours

Experience

  • Preferred bachelor's degree holder in Healthcare, Nursing, or related field
  • 2+ years of prior authorization, RCM, or medical billing experience
  • Required: Experience in endocrinology or specialty care (diabetes, thyroid, hormone therapies, etc.)
  • End‑to‑end prior authorization processing
  • Insurance eligibility and benefits verification
  • Knowledge of U.S. payer guidelines and authorization workflows
  • Appeals and denial management
  • Clinical documentation coordination
  • Accurate EMR/EHR data management
  • Strong understanding of endocrinology procedures and medications (diabetes, thyroid, hormone therapy)
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Professional communication with providers and payers
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
