About this Position As a Principal Solution Owner (Cyber Risk & Compliance AI Platform), you will play a pivotal role in strengthening Henkel's cybersecurity and risk management capabilities through innovative, AI-driven solutions. This position focuses on shaping and owning a strategic platform that helps the organization identify, assess, and manage cyber risks across a complex technology landscape. By combining modern engineering practices, solution architecture, and operational ownership, you will help ensure that critical risk and compliance processes are both effective and scalable in an increasingly digital environment.

You will join a collaborative team working in an AI-first development environment, partnering with engineers, security experts, and business stakeholders to continuously evolve the platform and deliver measurable value. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how artificial intelligence is applied to cybersecurity and governance challenges while ensuring reliable day-to-day operations that support business resilience, security, and compliance objectives across the organization.

What You´ll Do

• Develop software which uses agentic AI to the advantage of Cybersecurity.
• Take ownership of an existing codebase and evolve it into a stable, scalable enterprise platform.
• Design system architecture, including data models, integrations, and security concepts.
• Ensure the platform can handle large data volumes (e.g., controls, entities, risks) across IT and OT environments.
• Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., CMDB, IAM, security tools, OT systems).
• Use AI agentic capabilities, to enhance the organization's risk assessment and mitigation capabilities
• Own and support the ongoing operation of the GRC solution, including administration and continuous improvement.
• Ensure support for reliable day-to-day processes such as control execution, monitoring cycles, and issue handling run smoothly.
• Collaborate with a small engineering team utilizing the same underlying platform for other processes in an AI-first setup.
• Translate technical topics into clear, decision-ready information for stakeholders and management.
  
  

What makes you a good fit

• 8–15+ years of experience in enterprise software engineering or architecture
• Hands-on experience developing software using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot).
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and agentic AI, e.g., multi-step reasoning, tool orchestration, and autonomous development workflows.
• Strong skills in engineering and in designing, validating, and improving AI-generated code.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, APIs, and system integration.
• Experience in operating or maintaining enterprise applications (DevOps mindset) is required.
• Ideally experience in GRC, risk, or compliance environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
