About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant – Cloud & Managed Services to join our growing team. This is a senior technical consulting position for a subject-matter expert with deep expertise in one or more of the following disciplines:
- Oracle Database Administration (DBA)
- Cloud Architecture (OCI and/or Azure)
- Cyber Security
As a Principal Consultant, you will lead solution design, architecture, implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise Project Controls and Primavera environments. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, mentor consultants, contribute to pre-sales activities, and help drive technical excellence across the organization.
This role is ideal for a highly skilled consultant who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working directly with clients, and influencing technical strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Design, secure, optimize, and support enterprise Primavera and Project Controls environments.
- Lead solution architecture, technical assessments, gap analysis, migrations, and performance tuning initiatives.
- Develop and maintain deep expertise across the Oracle Primavera suite and related Prescience solutions.
- Install, configure, and support Primavera applications across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Primavera P6, Oracle Middleware, and WebLogic environments.
- Act as a Level 2 escalation point for technical support issues.
- Monitor system performance, security, reliability, and compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Apply ITIL-aligned support practices and contribute to continual service improvement initiatives.
Consulting & Client Engagement
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted technical advisor.
- Facilitate workshops, technical discussions, and solution design sessions.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership throughout project delivery lifecycles.
- Mentor Consultants and Senior Consultants to strengthen team capability.
- Deliver internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support proposal development, solution estimation, and pre-sales engagements.
- Identify opportunities to introduce innovative technologies and services.
Required Qualifications
Must-Have
- Current certification and strong hands-on experience in at least one of the following:
- Oracle DBA
- Cloud Architecture (OCI and/or Azure)
- Cyber Security
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise technology solutions in an Australian Client based company
- Experience adopting and supporting enterprise software applications and becoming a subject-matter expert.
