Key Responsibilities
Operate Prime Mover Trucks
Safely Drive and maneuver prime movers with trailers or container vans to transport goods efficiently and safely.
Transport Cargo
Deliver and pick up containers or bulk cargo between ports, warehouses, and client locations according to the schedule.
Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck and trailer are in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Load and Unload Coordination
Supervise or assist in the proper loading and unloading of cargo to ensure safety and prevent damage.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery receipts, and transport documents. Ensure proper completion and submission of delivery records.
Compliance with Traffic and Company Regulations
Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Fuel and Mileage Monitoring
Monitor fuel usage and record mileage for company tracking and reporting.
Route Planning and Efficiency
Plan routes to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing fuel and time efficiency.
Cargo Security
Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected throughout the trip.
Communication
Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients for smooth operations and delivery updates.
