Your Role:
As a Fuel Pricing Analyst, you will:
  • Monitor fuel prices and market trends daily to stay informed about industry dynamics, competitor strategies, and geopolitical factors.
  • Analyze historical pricing data and sales trends to identify patterns, correlations, and opportunities for pricing optimization.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of pricing strategies with business objectives.
  • Utilize pricing optimization tools and software to conduct scenario analyses, price simulations, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of pricing changes on sales volume, revenue, and overall business performance.
  • Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate pricing insights, trends, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to assess the positioning of our fuel prices relative to competitors.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve pricing processes, methodologies, and analytical capabilities.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry developments, and emerging technologies that may impact pricing strategies.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables:
  • Bacheloru0027s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in pricing analysis, revenue management, or a related field, preferably within the fuel industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel, statistical analysis tools, and pricing optimization software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
Preferred skills/expertise:
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with fuel industry regulations, market dynamics, and supply chain management principles.
