Our client, a leading global organization, is seeking a
Pricing Analyst. This role is a critical component of the end-to-end commercial finance lifecycle within a Shared Services environment. The specialist is responsible for the integrity of pricing master data and the end-to-end administration of customer agreements, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service delivery to cross-functional business partners.
Key Responsibilities
Master Data Management & System Integrity
- Pricing Administration: Independently perform daily tasks related to the creation, validation, and maintenance of pricing master data to ensure system accuracy and reliability.
- Data Execution: Execute complex price file uploads and technical system updates, collaborating with IT and relevant stakeholders to resolve data or system-related discrepancies.
- Approval Governance: Verify that all pricing change requests and customer agreements possess appropriate approvals in strict accordance with the organization's authorization and delegation frameworks.
Financial Administration & Transactional Oversight
- Accruals & Payments: Ensure accrual provisions and agreement-related payments are accurate, reasonable, properly supported, and processed according to financial schedules.
- Billing & Credits: Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit memos, and debit memos within agreed timelines, ensuring alignment with customer contracts and expectations.
- Contract Management: Oversee the secure storage and lifecycle management of customer contracts, ensuring an accessible and compliant audit trail.
Process Excellence & Internal Control
- Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives to streamline pricing and data management workflows, focusing on efficiency, automation, and user-friendly interface enhancements.
- Compliance & Audit: Maintain a robust internal control environment, ensuring all activities comply with internal financial policies as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Gap Analysis: Proactively identify process gaps or data integrity issues and recommend strategic improvements to enhance the management of customer agreements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Cross-Functional Partnering: Collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure process alignment and data accuracy across the business.
- Transition Support: Assist in the successful migration of pricing-related processes into the shared services model, providing subject matter expertise during transition phases.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Education: University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in a Shared Services or multinational environment, specifically within Pricing, Master Data, or Commercial Finance operations.
Technical & Functional Skills
- ERP Proficiency: Essential experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and master data management tools.
- Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Office suite.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of accruals, billing processes, and internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX).
