PRICING ANALYST 2

Description:

The Pricing Analyst will be part of the Sales Planning Team in Elyria with direct support for the Pricing Manager related to reports, price and item master maintenance, and analysis for pricing.

The Pricing Analyst will maintain base and profile pricing in the order processing system as directed by the Pricing Manager.. He / She will prepare price audits and price book updates whilst assisting the Pricing Manager in reports and analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Pricing Analyst maintains price lists, sets up new products, and writes and problem solves advanced price rules in the order processing system to meet company price requirement. The analyst administers MDF requests in line with policy and creates both regular and ad hoc reports. The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to pricing analysis, reporting, and database administration

• Backup JDE Pricing Function
• Base and profile Price Maintenance and audits
• New Product Setup
• Price Book Edits
• PROAction Distributor Inventory Validation/TM Support
• PDAC NP Report & Global Business Intelligence New Product Owner
• Account Rationalization
• Market Development Fund's Administration
• Dept. of Labor Price Update
• Commodity Price Index Update
• Rebate Reports for special programs, distributors, and export markets other Sales reports and analysis as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or any related course
• At least 2-3 years work experience with pricing and analysis
• Strong written and oral communication skills and strong data analysis skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledgeable in reports process and documentation
• Detail Oriented
• Willing to work on a night shift schedule 8PM - 5AM
