We are seeking a visionary and operationally strong President & Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead nationwide operations, drive sustainable growth, and ensure disciplined execution across a multi-branch financial services organization.
This executive role is responsible for shaping long-term strategy, strengthening financial performance, safeguarding operational integrity, and elevating customer experience standards across all locations.
The ideal candidate is a strategic operator with deep experience in regulated, multi-branch environments who combines financial rigor, operational excellence, and strong people leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute long-term growth strategies across branches nationwide
- Drive expansion initiatives including new branch openings and service diversification
- Lead digital transformation and operational innovation initiatives
- Align company objectives with customer-centric and ethical service standards
- Operations Management
- Oversee nationwide branch operations and ensure service consistency
- Establish and strengthen operational controls (cash handling, pledged assets, transaction safeguards)
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for pawnshop and money changing operations
- Standardize policies and performance frameworks across branches
- Financial & Business Performance
- Oversee company-wide P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy
- Drive revenue growth while maintaining portfolio quality and risk controls
- Monitor and optimize key performance metrics including loan releases, redemption rates, aging portfolio, and branch profitability
- Implement cost optimization strategies without compromising service standards
- Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead executive leaders, branch managers, and support teams nationwide
- Build leadership pipelines and succession plans
- Strengthen performance management and accountability systems
- Foster a culture rooted in integrity, service excellence, and people development
- Stakeholder & Industry Relations
- Maintain strong relationships with regulators, banking partners, and key stakeholders
- Represent the organization in industry forums and regulatory discussions
- Strengthen brand positioning as a trusted financial services provider
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 1015+ years of senior leadership experience in pawnshop, financial services, retail, or multi-branch operations
- Proven experience scaling operations across multiple locations
- Strong background in financial management, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance
- Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams
