This role is responsible for establishing customer relationships, supporting sales strategies, and assessing client needs and concerns to tailor solutions. The role assists in building business cases, mitigating risks, and overcoming objections. The role acts as a technical advisor, staying current with emerging technologies and trends while continually improving their skills.
Responsibilities
Builds strong relationships with customers, understanding their evolving needs and providing valuable insights.
Assists in developing effective sales strategies and tactics for different customer segments and industries.
Supports the customization and integration of products/services into the customer's existing systems or infrastructure, considering data flows, APIs, and compatibility.
Designs and manages proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the feasibility and value of the proposed solutions.
Prepares the technical response to RFPs, working closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that all technical aspects of the proposal are accurate and well-presented.
Assists customers in building compelling business cases that demonstrate the return on investment (ROI) and the value of adopting the proposed solutions.
Identifies potential risks associated with the proposed solutions and works with customers to address those concerns effectively.
Handles technical objections or concerns raised by customers by providing explanations or creative solutions to effectively overcome objections and foster customer confidence.
Acts as a technical authority and advisor to both customers and internal teams, providing insights into industry trends and emerging technologies.
Enhances personal skills and expertise in emerging technologies, industry trends, and sales techniques.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has at least 7 years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
