Days Off: Weekends Off

Salary: Earn up to 95,000

The Qualifications We Seek
- At least 3 years of experience in a deadline-driven newspaper environment (local or international)
- Strong English communication skills with excellent grammar
- Hands-on experience with print fulfilment systems, including pagination and press impositions
- Proven experience collaborating with Australian teams
- Deep understanding of the Australian media landscape
- Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred)
- Willingness to render overtime or shift adjustments based on business needs (e.g., breaking news or team coverage)

Your Daily Tasks
- Execute pagination, layout optimisation, and classified page planning to ensure accurate, on-time delivery to press while meeting quality standards
- Finalise and approve print-ready materials according to schedule, ensuring all outputs meet publishing requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders and partner teams to maintain efficient workflows and high service quality across print delivery
- Manage and prioritise daily tasks with accuracy and efficiency to meet strict publication deadlines
- Maintain clear communication, escalating issues and decisions to stakeholders as needed
- Align outputs with business priorities, including pagination guardrails and on-time performance targets
- Uphold publishing standards, guidelines, and quality control across all deliverables
- Manage shared mailboxes and handle print-related communications, including responding to queries promptly
Success in This Role
- 30 Days: Confidently follow end-to-end print workflows, understand systems, and demonstrate openness to learning and feedback
- 90 Days: Manage workload effectively, meet deadlines and quality standards, and improve productivity using internal systems
- 1 Year: Independently deliver across multiple mastheads, adapt to shifting priorities, and consistently achieve at least 98% on-time, high-quality performance
