Role Description This is a full-time, on-site pre-opening hospitality role based in Metro Manila. The position focuses on supporting the successful launch of a luxury hotel, including helping set up guest service standards, assisting in departmental procedures, and ensuring all operational areas are ready for opening. Day-to-day tasks may include coordinating with cross-functional teams, preparing service materials and spaces, participating in training sessions, and assisting with trial runs of guest experiences. The role also involves maintaining high levels of cleanliness, safety, and presentation in assigned areas, responding to guest inquiries with professionalism, and actively promoting Dusit's Always Gracious service culture. Team members will collaborate closely with leaders and colleagues to help create a seamless and memorable opening experience for guests.
Qualifications
- Hospitality and customer service skills, including experience in hotels, resorts, or luxury service environments and a strong commitment to gracious guest care.
- Operational and organizational skills, such as attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow pre-opening procedures and standard operating guidelines.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication in English, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and guests.
- Problem-solving and adaptability skills, with the capacity to handle unexpected situations, support evolving pre-opening needs, and maintain composure in a fast-paced setting.
- Professionalism and reliability, including a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and willingness to work flexible hours as required for pre-opening operations.
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality, hotel pre-opening projects, or guest-focused roles in Metro Manila or similar markets is an advantage.
- Relevant education in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business, or related fields is beneficial; equivalent experience will also be considered.
