Prefect of Discipline

Job Description/Summary

TThe Prefect of Discipline is responsible in implementing and enforcing school discipline policies to maintain safety, order, and proper student conduct in accordance with the Student Handbook. It includes investigating and managing disciplinary cases while coordinating with teachers, parents, counselors, and other school units to ensure appropriate actions and interventions. The position also supports monitoring student behavior during school activities, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping of disciplinary matters. Additionally, it requires collaboration with faculty and administration in developing discipline programs and preventive formation initiatives, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling student records and performing related duties as assigned by the VDSA.

Qualifications:

• A graduate of Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (a Master's degree is an advantage).
• Possesses strong oral and written communication skills in Filipino and English, and is proficient in computer navigation, MS Office, and online tools.
• Has relevant training in student development, child protection, crisis management, investigation and documentation, and Lasallian formation, with at least two (2) years of experience, preferably in a school setting.
• Demonstrates emotional intelligence, teamwork, conflict resolution, crisis management, leadership, and a willingness to extend time and responsibilities when needed.
