Precon / Constructon / Operations Director

Role Overview

Exciting senior leadership opportunities overseeing large-scale digital infrastructure developments, focusing on Preconstruction / Construction / Operations. This role will drive expansion strategy, project execution, operational excellence and portfolio growth, while leading cross-functional teams to ensure assets are delivered efficiently, operated reliably and positioned for future scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, delivery and ongoing operation of large-scale digital infrastructure projects.
• Drive site identification, acquisition and project feasibility assessments for new developments.
• Oversee pre-construction planning, due diligence and stakeholder coordination activities.
• Establish operational standards, governance frameworks and performance metrics.
• Manage construction execution, project controls, budgets and delivery schedules.
• Lead contractors, consultants and internal teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and quality requirements across all project phases.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, commercial and operational teams to support growth objectives.
• Provide strategic recommendations on expansion opportunities, capacity planning and market development.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction, Real Estate, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience within data centres, critical infrastructure, industrial or mission-critical environments.
• Proven leadership experience across development, construction, operations or asset management functions.
• Strong understanding of site acquisition, project feasibility, project delivery and facility operations.
• Experience managing large-scale projects, budgets, schedules and contractor performance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations.
• Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Experience developing governance frameworks, operational standards and best practices.
• Ability to operate strategically in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Regional experience across Asia Pacific would be advantageous.
