Job Overview
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Shift: Mid Shift | Flexible working days based on team schedule
- Work Setup: Onsite - Megatower, Ortigas
- Transition to Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH
- Salary: Earn up to PHP100,000
The Qualifications We Seek
- At least 3 years of newspaper production experience in fast-paced publishing operations (local or international)
- Strong background in pagination, imposition, and prepress workflows
- Experience using print fulfillment systems and publishing technologies
- Strong English communication skills with excellent written grammar
- Familiarity with Australian publishing standards and media workflows is highly preferred
- Strong ownership mindset with excellent organization, initiative, and problem-solving ability
- Able to work overtime or adjust shifts when required for major news coverage or production demands
- Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage
Your Daily Tasks
- Perform final quality checks and ensure on-time delivery of press-ready files across multiple publications
- Execute classified pagination aligned with schedules and workload demands
- Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain quality standards and seamless production flow
- Prioritize and coordinate tasks to meet strict publishing deadlines
- Maintain clear communication, escalating issues and decisions promptly
- Uphold publishing guidelines, templates, and standards consistently
- Manage shared mailboxes and print-related communications efficiently
Success in This Role
- 30 Days: Build proficiency in workflows, systems, and quality standards
- 90 Days: Consistently meet deadlines and quality targets while improving productivity
- 1 Year: Independently manage multiple mastheads with ≥98% on-time, high-quality delivery
