The PR Manager is responsible for developing and implementing public relations strategies that enhance the company's reputation, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and increase brand visibility. This role manages media relations, corporate communications, press releases, events, and crisis management, ensuring consistent and positive messaging across all channels.
Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement PR campaigns that align with company goals.
- Create communication strategies to build and maintain a strong brand reputation.
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for public engagement.
Media & Stakeholder Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers.
- Draft and distribute press releases, articles, and speeches.
- Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and media events.
Communication & Branding
- Ensure consistent messaging across all communication platforms.
- Support internal communications to engage employees with company initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing and digital teams on integrated campaigns.
Crisis & Issue Management
- Manage public relations crises with timely and effective communication.
- Serve as spokesperson when required.
- Develop contingency communication plans.
Reporting & Analytics
- Monitor media coverage and analyze PR campaign performance.
- Prepare reports and provide insights to senior management.
- Recommend improvements to enhance brand perception and PR effectiveness.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
- 2-3 years in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations.
- Proven experience in media engagement and crisis communication.
- Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
