Summary
To work with the Demand Marketing Lead, as your mentor and daily contact person, to setup, manage, optimize and maintain the paid search campaigns (PPC) being run out of Reed Exhibitions UK (RXUK). To ensure that they are delivered to brief, that all tracking and tagging techniques are applied consistently using the agreed methodology, and use insights to propose improvements and deliver optimization.
Accountabilities
- Setup and manage, the paid search activities for RXUK campaigns associated with Google AdWords, Yahoo, Bing and other search platforms
- Maintain and monitor keyword bids, manage daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other metrics
- Provide creative copy suggestions and graphical ad templates
- Manage Display network placement lists on AdWords and through other contextual advertising platforms
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other elements of paid search to deliver against brief
- Provide oversight and manage new paid search campaigns, ad groups, and accounts and support the creation of paid search marketing initiatives
- Provide oversight, manage, and be able to generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives
- Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments
- Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools.
- Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels
- Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results
Qualifications
- Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College degree, any field
- Solid experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools
- Proven experience working with popular PPC ad platforms (Google AdWords, Bing AdCenter, etc)
- Proficiency in managing moderate to large scale PPC accounts in a variety of different business verticals
- AdWords / Bing certification a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to analyse and draw insights from data sets
- Good knowledge of excel; comfortable in analysing data sets, formulas and pivot tables
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible & Agile working attitude with good problem solving skills
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience developing testing structures and compiling reporting deliverables based on performance
- 3+ years of experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Search (PPC)
- Experience in a B2B, International and/or multi-region company is a plus
- Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives.
