Job Description

POWERTOOLS REPAIR TECHNICIAN - INGCOPH TRADERS INC.

Assignment: INGCO Main Service Center

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate of Technical/Vocational course in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or related field; college level is an advantage
  • With 23 years relevant experience in equipment or power tools servicing, preferably in a service center setup
  • Strong capability in diagnosing faults in electrical and mechanical components
  • Skilled in conducting inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of defective units
  • Able to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and repair instructions
  • Knowledgeable in preventive maintenance practices and safety procedures
  • Good communication skills to provide clear updates regarding repair findings
  • Detail-oriented with ability to detect defects and irregularities accurately
  • Organized and capable of handling multiple repair jobs efficiently
  • Familiarity with using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
  • Able to work independently while meeting turnaround timelines
  • Physically capable of handling tools, parts, and repair equipment
  • Reliable, responsible, and committed to quality repair workmanship
  • Strong observation skills and high visual accuracy in inspections

Job Description

  • Examine malfunctioning power tools and determine root cause of issues
  • Conduct systematic troubleshooting for electrical and mechanical problems
  • Repair or replace defective components to restore equipment functionality
  • Perform operational testing after repair to ensure proper performance
  • Review technical references to support accurate diagnosis and repair work
  • Document repair details, findings, and actions taken for each unit
  • Provide recommendations for maintenance or additional repairs when necessary
  • Follow safety guidelines and standard repair procedures at all times
  • Maintain organized workspace and proper handling of repair tools and equipment
  • Assist in implementing preventive maintenance activities when required
  • Coordinate with service center team regarding repair status and workload
  • Carry out other technical service duties assigned by the supervisor
