PowerCurve Engineer

We are seeking an experienced PowerCurve Collections (PCC) Platform Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on expertise in implementing, installing, configuring, and supporting Experian's PowerCurve Collections platform. The role involves setting up and maintaining PCC environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and seamless integration with enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will also have strong experience in automating deployments using CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or CodeFresh.

Responsibilities

Lead the installation, configuration, and technical implementation of the PowerCurve Collections platform( runtime components - OpenAM, Collections, BPS, Database etc), including server setup, software deployment, environment provisioning, and patch management.

Collaborate with infrastructure teams to define and maintain environments (Testing andProduction) in an on-premise/cloud setup.

Perform application-level configuration such as treatment paths, action codes, contact strategies, user roles, screens, case lists, and workflows (good-to-have skill).

Integrate PCC with upstream/downstream systems (API Mesh, dialers, payment gateways, data hubs) using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, or flat files.

Configure batch jobs, data import/export routines, and scheduling mechanisms.

Monitor application logs, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for performance or configuration problems.

Ensure compliance with security standards, IT governance, and regulatory requirements.

Support UAT, system validation, and prepare documentation for go-live readiness.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, CodeFresh, Jenkins, or similar tools for automated deployments and environment consistency.

5+ years of experience in PowerCurve Collections (PCC) implementation and support.

Strong hands-on experience with RHEL 6/8 (Linux/Unix) and shell scripting.

Deep understanding of PowerCurve architecture, installation processes, and configuration workflows.

Experience with application servers (Tomcat/JBoss or WebLogic/WebSphere).

Proficiency in XML configuration, SQL scripting, and Oracle database tuning.

Familiarity with log analysis tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace) and job scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M).

Good understanding of collections operations, workflows, and regulatory considerations.

Strong experience with CI/CD automation tools (GitHub Actions / CodeFresh / Jenkins).

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

SSL/TLS and Certificate Management for securing PCC environments.

Performance Tuning at both application and database levels.

Knowledge of Networking Basics, including firewalls, ports, and connectivity troubleshooting.

Experience with Middleware such as MQ for message-based integrations.

Incident and Problem Management within ITIL frameworks.

Strong Stakeholder Communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
