Power Systems Engineer

A multinational engineering and consultancy firm in Queensland Australia involve with substation and transmission line projects is currently seeking for Power System Engineers as part of the company's growing team for Philippines.

Work setup: Remote, permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday; 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM

About the Position:

The Power Systems Engineer will perform power system studies using PSS/E, PSCAD, Powerfactory, and Hypersim. Experience with generator performance standards, report preparation, and compliance with national electricity rules is essential.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
• 3 - 5 years experience in full end-to-end delivery of multi-discipline complex high voltage grid connection projects
• Background in an engineering design, build & commission operating environment
• Strong HSEQ focus and passion for delivery and achieving strong results in areas of commercial performance and customer satisfaction
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels
• Proficient multi-tasker with a friendly, positive, can-do attitude
• Experience using PSCAD Software
• Experience working in an Australian firm
