What You'll Do
As a Power Market Economics Specialist, you will help drive strategic decisions through the MAFIA framework (Monitor, Analyze, Forecast, Implement, Assess):
Monitor
- Gather market, industry, and macroeconomic data
- Maintain and improve databases
- Track key industry updates and trends
Analyze
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual market reports
- Conduct case studies on market events
- Research market-related special topics and apply findings
Forecast
- Develop short‑term and long‑term market forecasting models
- Perform statistical and scenario analyses
Implement
- Support simulations and optimizations
- Provide key inputs to support trading and marketing strategies
Assess
- Compare forecasts against actuals
- Conduct sensitivity analyses and support strategy assessments
What You'll Bring
Education
- Degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or Business/Management‑related courses
Experience
- At least 3 years in Market Analysis, Corporate Planning, Forecasting, or Project Evaluation
Key Skills
