Power BI Technical Lead

As the Microsoft Power BI Technical Lead, you will spearhead the development and implementation of advanced Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, leveraging Microsoft Power BI and MS SQL technologies. In this highly strategic role, you will guide technical teams to deliver robust, data-driven insights that empower business leaders to make informed decisions. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of BI solutions that directly influence the company's digital transformation journey.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead, mentor, and inspire technical teams in designing and developing interactive Power BI dashboards and analytical reports.

- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring BI solutions align with organizational goals.

- Develop, optimize, and maintain MS SQL databases, supporting efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for Power BI.

- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Power BI solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to Power BI implementations, providing expert guidance to team members.

- Continuously research and integrate the latest trends, features, and best practices in Power BI and SQL to enhance existing BI processes and workflows.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the BI team.

- Deliver high-quality documentation and provide training or support as needed to ensure effective solution adoption.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, with a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards and reports.

- Strong command of MS SQL, including database management, query optimization, and data manipulation.

- Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding technical teams and managing successful project deliveries.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Data Engineer Associate certification is preferred but not mandatory.

- Experience with additional BI tools or cloud platforms is an advantage.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
