About The Role
Ferrari Films is seeking an experienced Editor / Post-Production Editor with strong technical and creative abilities across video editing, color correction and grading, and sound post-production.
The ideal candidate is a skilled visual storyteller who can take raw footage and transform it into polished, engaging episodes while maintaining strong narrative structure, pacing, continuity, and production quality.
This role requires hands-on experience working with both Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, particularly across editing, color, and audio workflows.

Role Responsibilities
Video Editing & Storytelling
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging, and cohesive episodes.
- Shape scenes and sequences to support the intended story, tone, pacing, and emotional impact.
- Maintain strong narrative flow, continuity, and visual consistency throughout each project.
- Collaborate closely with producers, directors, and other creative stakeholders to bring the overall creative vision to life.
- Review footage and identify the strongest takes, moments, and story elements for each edit.
- Adapt editing styles to suit reality-style, documentary, film, and digital episodic content.
- Perform professional color correction to maintain consistency across footage, scenes, and camera sources.
- Apply color grading techniques that enhance the visual tone and overall look of each production.
- Work confidently within DaVinci Resolve for color workflows and finishing.
- Ensure final footage meets professional visual quality standards before delivery.
- Edit, clean, balance, and enhance dialogue, music, ambient sound, and sound effects.
- Perform basic-to-intermediate audio mixing and sound design as part of the post-production process.
- Identify and correct common audio issues when possible.
- Ensure audio levels and overall sound quality remain consistent throughout final deliverables.
- Manage projects through the complete post-production process, from initial assembly and rough cuts through revisions and final delivery.
- Incorporate graphics, titles, subtitles, transitions, and supporting visual elements when required.
- Export and prepare final content according to the appropriate delivery specifications.
- Conduct detailed quality-control reviews to identify visual, audio, continuity, or technical issues before final submission.
- Maintain a high standard of quality across all completed projects.
- Deliver edits within tight deadlines while maintaining high production quality
- Organize and manage large volumes of footage and project files efficiently
- Maintain structured workflows to ensure smooth production cycles
- Proven professional experience as a Video Editor, Film Editor, Post-Production Editor, or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve (must-have).
- Demonstrated experience in video editing, color correction/color grading, and sound editing or mixing.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, continuity, and narrative structure.
- Strong visual judgment and attention to composition and detail.
- Ability to take raw footage and develop it into polished, engaging final content.
- Experience managing projects throughout the complete post-production workflow.
- Strong organizational and file-management skills.
- Ability to follow and interpret creative direction while also making sound independent creative decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects, revisions, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Previous experience editing reality television, documentaries, films, or episodic digital content.
- Strong experience with DaVinci Resolve color grading workflows.
- Experience with sound design, dialogue cleanup, audio mixing, and music integration.
- Familiarity with professional post-production workflows and production pipelines.
- Experience working with production companies, creative agencies, studios, or distributed creative teams.
- Understanding of current editing styles and trends across film, reality-style programming, and digital media.
