The following areas are considered part of the job responsibilities of the Post Closing Investor Coordinator.
The Post Closing Investor Coordinator will:
§ Contact the borrower to discuss deficiencies with loan documentation or missing items required to sell a loan but will not discuss or negotiate loan terms and/or interest rates.
Qualifications:This position must be able to accommodate the reading of loan documents or financial instruments, detailed work, problem solving, customer contact, reasoning, math, language, presentations, verbal and written communication, analytical reasoning, stress, multiple concurrent tasks, and constant interruptions. To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
§ Professionalism: Approaches others in a tactful and respectful manner; and reacts well while under pressure. Accepts responsibility for own actions and follows through on commitments;
§ Has strong time management, organizational and negotiation skills;
§ Minimum of 5 years of mortgage operations experience, with a minimum of 3 years on Post-Closing or a QC role.
§ Experience with portfolio Non-QM loans, jumbo loans or wealth management (assets) is a big plus.
§ Possesses current knowledge of lending compliance and regulations, and brings current knowledge of mortgage loan terms, documents and related forms, including title experience.
§ Must be detail oriented, and customer service driven, with strong communication skills (verbally and written).
§ Experience with Meridian (LQB) is a must.
§ Customer Service: Responds promptly to Investors needs and manages difficult and/or escalating investor situations as they relate to the salability of loans;

§ Has strong Oral and Written Communication skills: Listens and receives clarification; able to read and interpret written information;

§ Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment and is able to deal with the frequent changes, delays, and/or unexpected events;
§ Dependability: Follows instruction, responds to management direction, keeps commitments, and takes responsibility for own actions;
§ Initiative: Takes independent action and looks for and takes advantage of opportunities, and can set priorities;
§ Judgment: Displays a willingness to make timely decisions; while exhibiting sound and accurate judgment. Supports and explains reasoning for decisions and includes appropriate staff in the decision-making process.
