Develop and enhance technical competencies, as well as soft skills, of team members through coaching and mentoring.
Aid in the personal development of team members by recommending and providing them with proper external/internal trainings.
Provide guidance and clarity to achieve objectives and targets of Portfolio Quality team members and demanding accountabilities of the results.
Risk Management
Assesses the credit portfolio of major lending units by evaluating loan quality, policy compliance, and risk exposures. Prepares comprehensive Credit Review Reports in accordance with the scope agreed upon with the Risk Oversight Committee (ROC), highlighting key findings, emerging risks, and recommend actions.
Conducts Rapid Portfolio Reviews focused on specific industries or the overall portfolio, identifying potential risk factors based on macroeconomic trends, regulatory developments, and sectoral vulnerabilities expected to emerge within the year.
Initiates and designs stress testing parameters tailored to major identified risk factors. Coordinates with lending units to execute stress-testing exercises, providing insights into portfolio resilience and guiding proactive risk mitigation strategies.
Collaborates with risk and credit teams to ensure alignment of portfolio assessment practices with evolving regulatory standards and internal risk appetite.
Provides early warning signals and strategic recommendations to senior management and ROC to support informed decision-making and maintain portfolio quality.
Contributes to the enhancement of credit risk frameworks by integrating findings from portfolio reviews, stress tests, and industry analyses into policy updates and process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably business-related course.
At least 5 years of cumulative experience in Credit Risk Management, Audit & Compliance, and Lending Operations. At least 3 years of supervisory role.
