Role Overview

The Portfolio & Innovation Manager leads category innovation, portfolio optimization, and growth planning initiatives. The role is responsible for identifying future growth opportunities, managing innovation pipelines, and ensuring successful commercialization of new products.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio & Category Management

  • Develop portfolio strategies to drive sustainable category growth
  • Conduct category health assessments and identify performance gaps
  • Lead category reviews and recommend optimization initiatives
  • Analyze consumer trends and emerging opportunities within the market
  • Manage category profitability and investment priorities
  • Partner with RGM teams to optimize pricing and packaging strategies

Innovation Leadership

  • Build and evaluate business cases for innovation opportunities
  • Lead exploratory projects and innovation feasibility assessments
  • Monitor innovation performance and impact on category growth
  • Champion breakthrough initiatives and strategic growth programs
  • Align innovation pipelines with broader business objectives

Product Launch Management

  • Lead end-to-end commercialization of new products
  • Coordinate artwork development, packaging approvals, and launch timelines
  • Develop launch toolkits, sales decks, and activation strategies
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure material availability and production readiness
  • Drive stakeholder alignment for successful product launches
  • Support launch deployment and market execution activities
