JOB SCOPE
- Supervision of the Pollution Control Facilities (WWTP & APCF).
- Maintenance of chemical availability, purchase and storage.
- Schedules and coordinates operation and maintenance of Environmental Facilities.
- Inspects and checks unit operations of Environmental Facilities.
- Prepares, submits and presents weekly and monthly reports.
- Assist in research and analysis works for process improvements.
- Recommends improvement projects to the Quality Assurance Manager
- Oversees the waste management storage areas.
- Assist in the ground maintenance and housekeeping of the plant.
- Attends seminars and attains PCO status.
- Attends plant meetings in the absence of the Quality Assurance Manager
- Assist in Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
- Other duties that may be assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
QUALITY, ENVIRONMENTAL AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH &SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts plant and warehouse visits to assess quality systems and do Safety Observations
- Supports and demonstrates ownership of health and safety in his/her own area of responsibility.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Engineering graduate, preferably majoring in Chemical, Environmental, Metallurgical, or equivalent.
- With at least one (1) year of experience as a PCO in a manufacturing setting.
- Preferably a Licensed Engineer.
- Requires technical knowledge of the theories and principles of General Engineering.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires computer literacy, especially in Microsoft application programs.
