Job Summary
The Pollution Control Officer is responsible for monitoring and auditing environmental operations, including the De-Ionized (DI) Plant, Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), and pollution control facilities. This role ensures compliance with environmental regulations while supporting proper wastewater treatment and hazardous waste management.
What You'll Do
- Conduct audits and inspections of DI Plant, Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), and pollution control facilities
- Monitor environmental operations and ensure compliance with government regulations
- Manage and support wastewater treatment processes and hazardous waste handling
- Ensure continuous compliance with environmental standards and requirements
- Prepare and maintain environmental reports, records, and documentation
- Coordinate with relevant teams to address environmental concerns
- Monitor pollution control systems and recommend improvements
- Support initiatives to maintain safe and sustainable plant operations
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
- Experience in environmental management, pollution control, or wastewater treatment is an advantage
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with good documentation and reporting abilities
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment
