Job Description

Environmental Compliance

  • Monitor whether the company follows national and local environmental laws
  • Ensure compliance with emission standards (air, water, waste, noise)
  • Manage environmental permits and government submissions

Pollution Prevention & Monitoring

  • Conduct regular monitoring of air quality, water quality, and waste
  • Inspect emission sources and pollution control equipment
  • Ensure proper operation of treatment facilities

Environmental Reporting

  • Prepare environmental compliance reports for government agencies
  • Create internal environmental performance reports
  • Maintain accurate environmental record

Waste Management

  • Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste
  • Coordinate with accredited waste transporters and treatment facilities
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and documentation (e.g., manifests)

Emergency Response

  • Develop plans for environmental accidents (chemical spills, leaks, etc.)
  • Provide guidance on emergency actions and reporting procedures

Training & Awareness

  • Conduct environmental training for employees
  • Promote recycling, energy conservation, and safe chemical handling

Requirements

  • Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations
  • Air, water, and waste management technical skills
  • Reporting and documentation skills
  • Audit and inspection abilities
  • Emergency response knowledge
  • ISO 14001 knowledge is a strong advantage
