Job Description
Duties And Responsibilities
Education
- Reviews service manuals, and records of maintenance problems to determine maximum frequency of preventive maintenance
- Helps develop and maintain a functional preventive maintenance program/procedure while utilizing industry standards
- Provides support in implementing all aspects of the program
- Assesses machines/equipment which need preventive maintenance services
- Checks needed parts and monitors status of purchase
- Responds to equipment breakdowns and assesses/diagnoses faults
- Leads in repairing equipment
- Creates preventive maintenance and requisition reports
- Maintains and updates planned and completed maintenance records and reports
- Assists in developing and coordinating plans for reconstruction or installation of new equipment or machinery
- Coordinates with projects and assesses their equipment/machinery needs/demands
- Conducts orientation on proper equipment use
- Coordinates activities of other maintenance staff
- Performs other relevant duties as required
Education
- Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineer
- Licensed ME is an advantage
- Occupational safety and health training
- Training on equipment repair and maintenance
- Works well under pressure
- Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and strong numerical ability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task, adapt, and learn quickly
- Superior organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong time management (prioritization) skills
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Will work in the plant and visit other locations if necessary
