Job Summary
We are seeking an IT PMO Specialist to help drive the governance, coordination, and successful execution of strategic technology programs and cross-functional initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to improve program visibility, track progress, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure initiatives remain aligned with business priorities.
You will support program planning, status reporting, governance processes, stakeholder coordination, and the identification and resolution of issues that may impact delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and governance of technology programs and strategic initiatives.
- Track program milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, and overall progress.
- Prepare clear and timely status reports, dashboards, and updates for stakeholders and leadership.
- Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
- Facilitate dependency tracking and support the resolution of cross-functional issues and blockers.
- Maintain PMO standards, processes, documentation, reporting cycles, and governance frameworks.
- Support Agile ceremonies, program reviews, and cross-functional steering activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve program visibility, processes, and delivery effectiveness.
- Leverage project management, reporting, and AI-enabled productivity tools to improve efficiency and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in PMO, technology program management, project management, portfolio management, or digital transformation.
- Experience managing or coordinating complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with Agile product or technology teams.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and reporting or analytics tools.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, and program reporting.
- Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively across Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise system implementations, infrastructure coordination, platform engineering, or technology transformation initiatives.
- Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar solutions.
- PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent certification.
- Experience working within established PMO governance frameworks and reporting standards.
