What is the role that we need
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and document business requirements for project including training on support activities for operational process and business improvements/automation efforts
- Facilitate process workflow modeling to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end- to-end use cases
- Develop, implement, and execute operating procedures
- Identify issues and risks and participate in problem resolution
- Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management
- Work closely with Client Service, Operations, Enterprise and other internal Customer departments
- Review data source and reporting for accuracy and completeness
- Utilize Microsoft Office and other data management applications to automate reporting and analysis
- Conduct data acquisition, prep, and analysis as a business need arises
- Assist in implementing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Design and develop and assist in preparation of recurring and ad-hoc analysis/reports
- Ensure data integrity for all standardized and customizable reporting
- Evaluate/design new and existing macros, queries, dashboards and report/automation logic
- Other ad hoc tasks or activities associated with the Platform Ops support function and/or tasks within the capability and pay grade of the team member as may be assigned.
Requirements
Job Requirements and Credentials:
Essential (MUST HAVE)
- College Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or Business Administration
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Moderate skills in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel VLOOKUP, INDEX and MATCH, Pivot Tables, VBA, and macros
- Experienced in detailed operational data reconciliation
- Solid written and verbal communication and the ability to work with customers
- Multi-tasking and deadline orientation are essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Dependability and the ability to maintain utmost confidentiality in dealing with business information
Desired (Plus but not a requirement)
- 1+ year relevant experience preferred, but not required
- Computer skills: MS SQL and VBA for Excel are preferred
- Experienced at capturing and analyzing relevant data for formulating recommendations is a plus
- Ability to summarize information utilizing charts and graphs using MS PowerPoint or Dashboard tools is a plus
