Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

  • Configure and operate Moogsoft as the central event management and correlation platform

  • Manage alert lifecycles including ingestion, enrichment, deduplication, suppression, and Situation creation

  • Onboard and integrate event sources from New Relic, Microsoft Azure, and email-based alerts

  • Design and maintain ingestion pipelines using connectors, APIs, webhooks, and email gateways

  • Normalize and enrich events with consistent metadata (CI, service, environment, severity, ownership)

  • Implement and tune corre lation logic (temporal, topological, similarity-based) to reduce alert noise

  • Optimize Situations and alert grouping based on service, infrastructure, and dependency models

  • Collaborate with monitoring and platform teams to improve event quality and signal-to-noise ratio

  • Support production operations through platform stability, root-cause analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have minimum 3-5 years of experience in Infrastructure administration.

  • Experience with any of the following skills: Dynatrace, Datadog, New Relic, Pager Duty, Software Observability, AI for IT Operations

  • Must have administration experience in any of the Enterprises monitoring products.

  • Strong knowledge on infrastructure, engineering, and support.

  • Automation skills using Terraform & Ansible.

  • Must have some Cloud technology exposure, Preferably Azure.

  • Sound problem solving and decision-making ability.

  • Ansible, Automation skills, Scripting, Moogsoft, Azure Cloud

  • Ability to work independently and with team members from different backgrounds

  • Excellent communication, presentation, consultative, and interpersonal skills
