Role Description The Platform Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Metrobank's core infrastructure platforms to ensure stability, security, and high availability. This full-time, on-site role based in the National Capital Region, Philippines involves monitoring system performance, performing routine maintenance, and coordinating upgrades and patches across servers, networks, and related systems. The role includes resolving infrastructure and network issues, implementing security controls, and supporting disaster recovery and backup processes. The administrator collaborates with cross-functional teams to support new projects, improve existing platforms, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions is expected, along with continuous improvement of operations through best practices.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in System Administration and Infrastructure management for enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting complex platform and performance issues across multiple systems.
• Experience in Network Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and optimization.
• Knowledge of Network Security practices, tools, and controls to protect critical banking systems.
• Background in managing server operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows Server) and virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud or hybrid infrastructure, storage solutions, and backup/recovery strategies.
• Ability to document procedures and configurations clearly and follow change management processes.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, Linux, security-related) are an advantage.
