Job Title: Platform Development Officer

Job Summary

The Platform Development Officer is responsible for bridging business requirements with IT solutions, ensuring effective documentation, training, and implementation of platform initiatives. The role supports both project-based and business-as-usual (BAU) activities, ensuring smooth delivery and continuous improvement of digital systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements Gathering

Act as liaison between Business Units and IT.

Prepare and review requirement specifications (PIO format).

Evaluate system revision/enhancement requests and attend vendor walkthroughs.

2. Project Documentation

Assist in preparing BRD, FSD, COR, RASIMP, and related documents.

Review technical designs, including screen flows and UI/UX, for consistency.

3. User Training

Support training, tutorials, and orientation for users of supported systems.

4. Project Implementation & Monitoring

Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with SQA.

Monitor project progress, attend stand-ups, and follow PIO project management guidelines.

Provide regular status reporting and review processes to improve turnaround time.

5. Business-as-Usual (BAU) Support

Provide system support for assigned platforms.

Conduct pre-production validations, script testing, and issue replication in UAT.

6. Other Responsibilities

Handle assigned systems and perform administrative tasks.

Support special projects and other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

24 years of experience in system development, project coordination, or IT business analysis.

Familiarity with project documentation standards (BRD, FSD, COR, RASIMP).

Strong understanding of system testing, UAT, and platform monitoring.

Excellent communication skills for liaising between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Experience in financial services or enterprise IT is an advantage.
