The Platform Development Officer Assists the Platform Development Head/ Team Lead in monitoring the development and testing of new services, features, enhancements of the bank's digital platforms.
Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering
- Serves as liaison between business and IT to define the project requirement
- Participates in product development and system evaluation
- Attends vendor presentation/walk thru
- Evaluates the user request for system revision or enhancement
- Prepares and approves requirement specifications in standard format under the supervision of the Platform Development Team Lead
- Reviews the business requirements to ensure consistent customer experience and endorse to technical team for development
Project Documentation
- Assists the Platform Development Team Lead to prepare project documentation as necessary
- Reviews the technical documents such as BRD, FSD, COR, RASIMP, etc.
- Reviews the technical design including screens design and flow to ensure consistent customer experience
User Training
- Supports user training, education, tutorial, and orientation about the supported systems
Project Implementation and Monitoring
- Ensures the quality of features through various user acceptance testing (UAT) activities in coordination with System Quality Assurance (SQA) teams
- On-boards new products and services as well as enhancement to existing services which includes review of requirements prior to endorsement for implementation by SQA
- Attends regular stand-up meetings
- Follows standard in project management as required by PIO
- Monitors project progress and performance
- Regularly reports accomplishments and status of ongoing initiatives to Platform Development Head
- Continuously reviews the procedures to improve process and reduce TAT (Turnaround Time)
BAU Support
- Ensures business as usual by providing system support to the corresponding business unit of each team
- Conducts pre-production script execution testing
- Conducts pre-production validation of customized set-up
- Conducts production issue replication in UAT environment
Others
- Handles assigned systems
- Performs Personnel Administrative Functions
- Implements Special Projects as needed
- Performs all other related Platform Development functions which may be assigned by the Division/Department Head
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any 4-year course
- Must have at least 2 years of related experience
- Must have experience in Digital Banking platforms
- Must have experience or background in financial services, banking, business management and/or Information Technology (IT)
- Must be proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PPT)
- Must have Project Management skills and experience
- Must have Above-average communication skills, and proficient in oral and written communication
- Must be empathetic, and understand the needs of the clients
- Must be team player, collaborative and can work with different workstreams
- Must be organized and can work effectively independently and with teammates
- Has the ability to apply sound problem-solving techniques to various situations
- Has knowledge in Risk Management and Compliance
- Has familiarity with mobile operating systems (iOS, Android, etc.)
- Has knowledge in banking products and services
