A Plastic Assembly Technician safely operates production machinery and manually assembles, trims, and packages plastic parts according to technical drawings and quality standards. Key duties include setting up injection molding or extrusion equipment, conducting inspections for defects, performing minor machine repairs, and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Assembly: Assembling, trimming, grinding, or buffing plastic products to final form.
Machine Operation: Operating injection molding machines, autoclaves, or other automated assembly equipment.
Quality Control: Inspecting components at every stage for defects (visual or instrument-based) to ensure compliance with standards.
Maintenance & Technical: Performing minor, routine maintenance on molds and machinery.
Process Documentation: Documenting actions by completing production logs, quality forms, and reporting breakdowns.
Material Handling: Managing raw materials and ensuring proper storage
