Plant Operations Manager (Lagundi Farm - Palawan)

Role Description The Plant Operations Manager (Lagundi Farm) is a full-time, on-site role based in Puerto Princesa, Palawan with regular coordination with farm and production sites. This role oversees daily plant operations related to Lagundi farming, including planning and monitoring production schedules, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards, and managing inventory of raw materials and finished goods. The Plant Operation Manager leads and supervises plant personnel, implements standard operating procedures, and coordinates with procurement, quality assurance, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure efficient end-to-end operations. The role also involves continuous improvement initiatives, performance reporting, and risk management to support reliable supply and cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Strong plant operations and production management skills, including workflow planning, resource allocation, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Capability in process improvement and problem-solving, with experience implementing operational efficiencies and corrective actions.
• Team leadership and people management skills, including coaching, performance monitoring, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Coordination and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams such as procurement, quality assurance, and logistics.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, agribusiness, or related manufacturing environments, preferably with familiarity in herbal or plant-based products.
• Working knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices and environmental health and safety standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Industrial Management, or a related field; advanced training in operations or supply chain is an advantage.
