Syscore is seeking a highly experienced Plant Manager to lead and oversee the full manufacturing operations of our food and non-food product lines. This role is essential in ensuring that our plant continues to deliver safe, high-quality, and efficient production output aligned with our operational standards and growth goals.
We are specifically looking for a leader with strong, hands-on experience in food manufacturing, given the stringent requirements for safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Overall Plant Leadership
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations for both food and non-food manufacturing.
- Execute operational plans to achieve productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency targets.
- Ensure alignment with company goals, customer requirements, and compliance standards.
Production & Process Management
- Oversee production scheduling, workflow, and output to meet operational demands.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, Food Safety Standards, ISO, and industry regulations.
Quality & Food Safety Oversight
- Strengthen and uphold the plant's food safety and quality culture.
- Work closely with QA/QC teams to ensure adherence to product quality specifications.
- Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address deviations and audit findings.
People Management & Leadership
- Manage, coach, and develop supervisors and operational teams to achieve high performance.
- Oversee manpower planning, performance evaluation, and capability-building initiatives.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational discipline.
Maintenance & Facility Management
- Oversee preventive maintenance and equipment reliability programs.
- Coordinate with Engineering for utilities, equipment repairs, and facility improvements.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with DOLE, DENR, FDA, and other regulatory bodies.
- Drive workplace safety programs and lead incident investigations when necessary.
- Manage internal and external audits, certifications, and regulatory documentation.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Manage plant budgets and operating expenses.
- Monitor labor productivity, material usage, and other key cost drivers.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining operational quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Industrial Management, or related field.
- Minimum 710 years of manufacturing plant experience, with at least 5 years in food manufacturing (required).
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety Systems, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement tools.
- Proven leadership experience in managing large teams and complex operations.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership presence.
- Willing to work onsite in our Caloocan Plant.
