Role Overview

The Plant Finance Manager acts as a key finance partner to plant and operations teams, providing strategic and analytical support to drive business performance. This role is responsible for financial planning, cost management, and performance monitoring across production sites. It plays a vital role in enabling data-driven decisions, improving cost efficiency, and identifying opportunities that enhance overall operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts for manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze financial results by comparing actual performance against plans, forecasts, and historical data to determine key variances.
  • Develop and present comprehensive financial reports highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Manage product costing processes, including standard costing updates, bill of materials validation, and cost absorption analysis.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to manufacturing efficiency and cost performance.
  • Provide actionable financial insights to improve plant productivity and reduce operational expenses.
  • Build financial models and conduct scenario planning for investments, capacity expansion, and sourcing decisions
  • Review and validate savings initiatives, ensuring financial benefits are accurately tracked and realized.
  • Maintain strong financial controls, ensuring compliance with internal policies and audit requirements.
  • Partner closely with operations and cross-functional teams to communicate insights and support business decisions.

Qualifications.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of leadership or managerial experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, and cost accounting.
  • Open to candidates with solid experience in finance roles within manufacturing, supply chain, or similar industries (minimum 3 years.
  • Strong exposure to manufacturing or operations finance is highly preferred.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial systems such as SAP, Anaplan, and advanced Excel.
  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to perform in a dynamic environment.
  • Willing to be assigned in Cebu (Northern area).
